Well, I say let it ride. And just to make it more interesting, Republicans should promise to repeal “Obamacare” if they get a congressional majority in 2010. As National Review’s Ramesh Ponnuru argues, that way moderate Democrats won’t be able to run away from their votes come 2010. They’ll be on notice that this will be the campaign issue of the election. And moderate Republicans will be on notice to resist the temptation to tinker with Obamacare rather than defenestrate it once it’s passed.

Amen to that.  I said it a while ago in my post here.  Barak Obama, Nancy Pelosi, and Harry Reid have killed any notion of 'bi-partisanship' for the future of American politics.  How can ANYONE think Barak Obama is a "Uniter" when he thinks, writes, speaks, and believes to his core, THIS.

This is literally civil war between the political class and the rest of America. 

There is no middle ground and the forces of American patriotism following the laws and guidance of the greatest document in the free worlds' history, the Constitution, will not be thwarted by the progressive, socialist agenda of a very very small minority of the Democratic party, unfortuneately that small minority was fraudulently elected to power under a fake banner of "Hope and Change."  What Barak Obama ran on was that "Hope and Change," what he meant by it was "Socialism, Taxes, and Government control of your lives, by Barak Obama and Rahm Emanuel, and there will be nothing you can do about it America." 

Thank about that America.  Who are you going to listen to;  The Constitution which guided us to becoming the greatest nation in earth's history in 200 short years, or Barak Obama who thinks the Constitution is just a piece a paper not worth the ink used to write it, just because he says so?  Who are you going to believe?  Do some critical thinking of your own, don't be a lemming running off the cliff with the others.

It is time to cast aside all remaining doubt. President Obama is not trying to lead America forward to recovery, prosperity and strength. Quite the opposite, in fact.

In September of last year, American Thinker published my article, Barack Obama and the Strategy of Manufactured Crisis. Part of a series, it connected then presidential candidate Barack Obama to individuals and organizations practicing a malevolent strategy for destroying our economy and our system of government. Since then the story of that strategy has found its way across the blogosphere, onto the airwaves of radio stations across the country, the Glenn Beck television show, Bill O'Reilly and now Mark Levin.

The methodology is known as the Cloward-Piven Strategy, and we can all be grateful to David Horowitz and his Discover the Networks for originally exposing and explaining it to us. He describes it as:

The strategy of forcing political change through orchestrated crisis. The "Cloward-Piven Strategy" seeks to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse.

Richard Cloward and Frances Fox Piven were two lifelong members of Democratic Socialists of America and taught sociology at Columbia University (Piven later went on to City University of New York). In a May, 1966 Nation magazine article titled "The Weight of the Poor," they outlined their strategy, proposing to use grassroots radical organizations to push ever more strident demands for public services at all levels of government.

The result, they predicted, would be "a profound financial and political crisis" that would unleash "powerful forces ... for major economic reform at the national level."

They implemented the Strategy by creating a succession of radical organizations but most notably the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN), with the help of veteran organizer Wade Rathke. Their crowning achievement was the "Motor Voter" act, signed into law by Bill Clinton in 1993 with Cloward and Piven standing behind him.

As we now know, ACORN was one of the chief drivers of high-risk mortgage lending that eventually led to the financial crisis. But the Motor Voter law was another component of the strategy. It created vast vulnerabilities in our electoral system which ACORN then exploited.

ACORN's vote registration scandals throughout the U.S. are predictable fallout.

The Motor Voter law has also been used to open another vulnerability in the system: the registration of vast numbers of illegal aliens, who then vote reliably Democrat. Herein lies the real reason Democrats are so anxious for open borders, security be damned.

It should be clear to anyone with a mind and two eyes that this president and this Congress do not have our interests at heart. They are implementing this strategy on an unprecedented scale by flooding America with a tidal wave of poisonous initiatives, orders, regulations and laws. As Rahm Emmanuel said, "A crisis is a terrible thing to waste."

The real goal of "healthcare" legislation, the real goal of "cap and trade," the real goal of "stimulus" is to rip the guts out of our private economy and transfer wide swaths of it over to government control. Do not be deluded by the propaganda. These initiatives are vehicles for change. They are not goals in and of themselves, except in their ability to deliver power, and will make matters much worse, for that is their design.

This time, in addition to overwhelming the government with demands for services, Obama and the Democrats are overwhelming political opposition to their plans with a flood of apocalyptic legislation. Their ultimate goal is to leave us so discouraged, demoralized and exhausted that we throw our hands up in defeat. As Barney Frank said "the middle class will be too distracted to fight."

These people are our enemies. They don't use guns, yet, but they are just as dangerous, determined and duplicitous as the communists we faced in the Cold War, Korea, Vietnam and bush wars across the globe, and the Nazis we faced in World War II.

It is time we fully internalized and digested this fact, with all its ugly ramifications. These people have violated countless laws, and could be prosecuted, had we the political power. Not only are their policies unconstitutional, but deliberately so - the goal being to make the Constitution irrelevant. Their spending is off the charts and will drive us into hyperinflation, but could be rescinded, had we the political power. These policies are toxic, but could be stopped and reversed, had we the political power. Their ideologies are poisonous, but could be exposed for what they are, with long jail sentences as an object lesson, had we the political power.

Every single citizen who cares about this country should be spending every minute of his/her spare time lobbying, organizing, writing and planning. Fight every initiative they launch. It is all destructive. If we are to root out this evil, it is critical that in 2010 we win competent, principled leaders willing to defend our constitution and our country. Otherwise the malevolent cabal that occupies the seat of government today will become too entrenched.

After that all bets are off.

Dr. Roy Spencer, of the University of Alabama at Huntsville, formerly with NASA, has taken a look at the pictures used to illustrate Gore's new book, "Our Choice: A Plan To Solve the Climate Crisis."

Gore Photoshopped NASA imagery of the earth for the fold-out cover photo, adding four hurricanes at once, including one spinning in the wrong direction next to Florida and, in a physical impossibility, one on the equator next to Peru. Somewhere in the process, the island of Cuba was deleted.

How can ANYBODY take Al Gore seriously now.  The man is a fraud.  The entire carbon credit scam is just that, a SCAM!  If, when writing a book about the effects of global warming Al Gore could not even find a credible REAL picture of a weather pattern then what does that say about the rest of his claims?

That said, I do believe we should treat the earth with respect and not pollute the planet, and reduce our by-products so that they are biodegradable and do not hurt the environment.  But at the same time when global temperatures have not increased at all over the last decade one has to wonder what the hell Al Gore and the rest of the people promoting and profiting off the global warming hysteria really want out of all of this?  Hmmm, maybe, could it be, possibly $$$$$$$$$$.. MONEY!

Just exactly why every American with an IQ over 5 is AGAINST ObamaCare, PelosiCare, and RiedCare.  I personally am self-employed, I CHOOSE not to have health insurance because i go to the doctor 1 time a year for a checkup and pay $150 OUT OF MY OWN POCKET for the doctors visit.  I DO NOT USE THE HEALTHCARE SYSTEM OTHERWISE.  Therefore, Nancy Pelosi's claim that those who are uninsured by choice are "taking advantage, and draining the healthcare system" are complete BULL SHIT!  But according to Nancy Pelosi it is OK to send me to JAIL for 5 years for not CHOOSING to buy health insurance.

This is a hard thing for us to write, especially since it’s not a done deal for us yet, but we think the MSM and liberals’ apology efforts for Muslim mass-murderer Hasan at Ft. Hood might just be the last straw for the Democrat Party with us.

Liberals are doing everything they can to fabricate a delusion that this was not a terrorist attack made in the name of Islam — which we clearly believe it was. Hasan dressed in his white martyr robes the morning of his murder spree. He gave away his precious Koran the way Islamic martyrs do. He shouted “Allah Akbar” before taking the lives of as many of our soldiers as he could. In the past, he attended mosque with a radical Imam linked to 9/11, and repeatedly talked about how evil the United States is, how much he hates America, and how much Muslims need to kill as many innocents in this country as possible.

This was a terrorist attack, no matter how much the lunatic Left would like to convince you otherwise…or go to great efforts to hug, coddle, and sympathize with the “misunderstood” Muslim terrorist.

This has just gotten ridiculous.

All of the above would have been UNTHINKABLE to us in 2007.  Never in our lives did we think we would vote Republican or call ourselves Independents, but that’s where things have certainly moved.

We never believed them…but the last few days have given a new clearness to everything for us.

Liberals are truly running to the defense of a Muslim terrorist…and not running to help his victims…not running to protect Americans from further attacks like this…they are running to defend a murderer.

It’s appalling. And we think it might just be our very last straw with these loons.

There is NOTHING good about this bill, nothing that actually HELPS Americans and it does everything to hinder, destroy economic responsibility, and handcuffs - LITERALLY - normal everyday American citizens who are HEALTHY and DO NOT USE the health care system and drain it's resources like illegal immigrants do. 

I for one am a 30 year old HEALTHY male, I go to the doctor about 1 time a year for a checkup/physical, and I pay about $150 out of MY OWN POCKET, and then go about my business.  If I get sick, I DO SO AT MY OWN RISK, and IF I need to visit the doctor more than that, I PAY FOR IT OUT OF MY OWN POCKET!  You cannot justify because I choose not to buy health insurance that I am "draining thE healthcare system."  I AM NOT USING IT AT ALL, AND WHEN I DO I PAY FOR IT WITH MY OWN MONEY!!!

Now you want to throw me in jail for not paying ridiculous amount of money for healthcare THAT I DO NOT USE!?!?!?!? WTF.  I HAVE NO CRIMINAL RECORD!!!!  How can you justify making literally hundreds of thousands, if not millions of Americans criminals for doing something that is our Constitutional right NOT to be forced to do something we do not want to do.

I would say that all of those thing are decidedly "defiantly transformational" of American values going back say 250+ years.  Since the last time we threw oppressor off of our backs and became FREE people.  There is no mandate in our Constitution or Bill of Rights that says the US Congress can IMPOSE MANDATORY JAIL TIME AND CIVIL (aka MONETARY) Damages to American citizens who CHOOSE NOT to subsidize ILLEGAL Immigrants (who are FELONS for already being ILLEGALLY IN THE COUNTRY), Government sponsored abortion.  I currently do not purchase health insurance because I think I'm pretty healthy being 30 years old and don't need to pay for $4,000 a year in medical insurance when i go to the doctor once or twice a year for a routine checkup.  I am no criminal, but what Obama and the Democrats are doing is going to MAKE ME a criminal and I could be looking at jail time.  WHY?  Because I choose not to pay for OTHER PEOPLE to go to the doctor?  WTF?!?! THAT IS COMPLETELY ASININE!  By the way did I mention that the Democrats in the US Congress havea  double standard for themselves versus the avgerage everyday American citizen?  Oh yeah, they want to FORCE us to take their crappy socialized health care plan BUT Congress REFUSES to accept socialized health care for themselves!!!!  Tell me HOW this is LEGAL, Constitutional, or SANE?

I mean seriously... is it lost on diplomats that Iran is really seeking a nuclear bomb and just using negotiations as a cover for more time to make it?  It's pretty obvious to even the untrained eye what Iran is doing.  it's not complicated, it's quiet simple.  So simple in fact that Western diplomats and negotiators must be overlooking how simple in fact it is.  Since negotiations began to stop Iran from enriching urainuim what has Iran done?  Let's see:

Mastered the nuclear fuel cycle,
Expanded their long range ballistic missile capability to carry bigger payloads -- hmm I wonder why,
Threatened the destruction and existence of a UN member state,
Clandestinely hid nuclear work from IAEA inspectors... over and over again,
Have not agreed to stop enriching uranium at all - this is now 7 years after our initial negotiation to stop them from enrichment,
...and now testing advanced nuclear warhead designs... a secret technology.

The very existence of the technology, known as a "two-point
implosion" device, is officially secret in both the US and Britain, but
according to previously unpublished documentation in a dossier compiled
by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Iranian scientists
may have tested high-explosive components of the design. The
development was today described by nuclear experts as "breathtaking"
and has added urgency to the effort to find a diplomatic solution to
the Iranian nuclear crisis.

The sophisticated technology, once
mastered, allows for the production of smaller and simpler warheads
than older models. It reduces the diameter of a warhead and makes it
easier to put a nuclear warhead on a missile.

But yet here we are still "talking" with Iran to get them to stop.  Gee, any idiot can see that diplomacy has NOT worked.  What the hell are we  still doing "talking" to them.  Time to get tough, not just with Iran but also the countries like Russia and Germany who are continuing to break sanctions and help the Iranians hold out longer and drag negotiations on longer until they finish their production of a nuclear warhead because of "economic" ties!!!  BULLSHIT! We should stop hold Germany's and Russia's feet to the fire and sacntion them and stop doing trade with them and show them how much we don't liek them stabbing us in the back when we are trying to actually go the peaceful route with Iran.  The longer Germany and Russia et al. continue to undermine the sanctions process the closer we get to all out war.  Then everyone will look back and KNOW that Germany continued to INCREASE trade with IRAN during sanctions to an all time high, and Russia just being dumb ass old Russia, communist, freedom hating Russia.  Russia I can understand, they hate us, we hate them - but Germany?  Aren't they our ally?  Supposedly?!?!

well be the worst piece of post-New Deal legislation ever introduced.

In a rational political world, this 1,990-page runaway train would
have been derailed months ago. With spending and debt already at record
peacetime levels, the bill creates a new and probably unrepealable
middle-class entitlement that is designed to expand over time. Taxes
will need to rise precipitously, even as ObamaCare so dramatically
expands government control of health care that eventually all medicine
will be rationed via politics.

Yet at this point, Democrats have dumped any pretense of genuine
bipartisan "reform" and moved into the realm of pure power politics as
they race against the unpopularity of their own agenda. The goal is to
ram through whatever income-redistribution scheme they can claim to be
"universal coverage." The result will be destructive on every level—for
the health-care system, for the country's fiscal condition, and
ultimately for American freedom and prosperity.

Yet, we have these idiots running our government..err should I say RUINING our government, RUINING our country.  The way this is going, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and any other politician voting to pass this monstrosity is bound to be tarred, feathered, and driven out of Washington (and the entire US hopefully) by pitchfork weirlding American patriots who are fed up with this socialist crap that is coming DIRECTLY FROM THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY.  Even the name "Democratic Party" is a hypocritical joke - Democrats in Congress and in the White House are anything BUT Democratic, they are Socialist, they are Marxism, they are ANTI-AMERICAN.  They are trampling the Consitution, they are trampling our freedoms under the Bill of Rights, they are trampling everything that has made America prosper and great over the past 250 years.
