Common Sense

“I wasn’t a great communicator, but I communicated great things, and they didn’t spring full bloom from my brow, they came from the heart of a great nation-from our experience, our wisdom, and our belief in the principles that have guided us for two centuries. They called it the Reagan revolution. Well, I’ll accept that, but for me it always seemed more like the great rediscovery, a rediscover of our values and our common sense.“
- President Ronald Reagan

Report: Shoe hurled at Ahmadinejad in Iranian city - Haaretz - Israel News

Madoodie Ahmadinejad, yes I spelled his first name like that on purpose.  For western people having a show thrown at you really means nothing, you duck and get over it.  But for a muslim person having a show thrown at you is a great disrepect.  Enter Madoodie Ahmadinejad, and enter a shor being thrown at him in disgust.  It will never be reported in Iran that this happened, moreover in teh Arab world.  But this is big news here.  That a muslim disrepected the Iranian leader in IRAN nonetheless, is quite frankly AWESOME.  Whoever is responsible for throwing the shoe, 99% of the world is behind you and rooting for you.
