I do not hold President Obama 100% accountable for the mess in the economy: I HOLD THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY AS A WHOLE FULLY RESPONSIBLE. Democrats took over full control of Congress in 2006 when the economy was riding high and everything was going great. Heck, as a trader I even thought we were heading to 16,000 on the DOW. But then came november of 2006 and the Democrats were swept into power by the general population (who as a whole don't know shit when it comes to the economy). Everything that then President George W. Bush tried to do was blocked outright by the Democratic Congress in both the Senate and House of representatives, regardless of what Bush was trying to accomplish.
Prime example: Housing mortgage regulation - Defeated by Democrats because they wanted every poor person who could not afford a house to be able to own a house. Hey I can't afford a house, therefore I didn't try to buy one that I could not afford, regardless of the incentives the Democrats were eagerly pushing. i was responsible, I knew what I could and could not pay for. If the housing regulation had gone through in 2006 we would not be in the mess we are right now. The underlying bad mortgages would have been found and regulated 2 years ahead of the disaster that is now unfolding because of the Democrats' socialist ways. Barney Frank, and Christopher Dodd (or should I says DUD!) are the 2 people most responsible for leading the way into the housing crash. Barney Frank was banging one of the top bosses are Fannie Mae during the whole wild west of realestate. Why would he want to back regulation when he and his "lover" were getting rich off of poor people who couldn't afford the loans Fannie May and Freddy Mac were giving them? He wouldn't and that's exactly what happened, the Deomocrats blocked everything President Bush tried to do to save the economy from disaster and give us a solid footing in the economy.
Thus, like I said before, I HOLD THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY AS A WHOLE FULLY RESPONSIBLE for the economic crisis that the USA is enduring right now.
What President Barak Obama has done is worsen an already awful situation by pilling on socialist ideals and reforms that GO COMPLETELY AGAINST THE GRAIN OF A FREE MARKET AND CAPITALISM THAT MADE AMERICA GREAT OVER TEH LAST 200+ YEARS!!
Barak Obama is trying to find a place in history for himself as not only th first black president of the USA, but also as someone who helped America, I get that, heck I admire that. Unfortunately, all Barak Obama is doing is talking, like a bobble head doll swaying in the political wind. He is WRONG, DEAD WRONG on his economic policies, in fact, the "porkulus" spending bill of $800billion was passed for ALL the WRONG reasons and has thus led to a significant downturn for the United States of America.
