This article on Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner does not even do justice to how the market reacted. As an Equities/ETF/Index trader I watched in horror as Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner spoke on his plans for the bailout. Every word that came out of his mouth was followed by a serious downtick across the board in the stock market. Even when Geithner did happene to mention that was even a bit good, the market just held it's breath and waited for the next blunder thart was sure to follow. We did not even ger a retracement on somewhat decent remarks, none, nada, ZERO - just continued downward pressure on all stocks.
What a true disaster the Obama adminsitration has already been to this country and it is only still 3 weeks into his presidency.
Obama chooses tax cheats to run the IRS, another tax cheat to be Treasury Secretary.
Obama's "plegde" niot to use lobbyists in any part of his adminsitration was followed by his selectin of a Raytheon lobbyist to fill a defense department role in his administration.
This guy - and I mean President Obama - has done nothing, and I do mean NOTHING he promised in his campaign. Everyday people are starting to see what a FRAUD Barak Obama is, and how inexperienced he actually is, incapable of managing the tasks of being President of the United States of America. I'ts a lot different than being a "community organizer." I mean what a joke people actually bought that crap he was sellingon teh campaign trail.
Well it serves the stupid people of our country right that they are now seeing their "messiah" completely screw our country royally, from fron to back and everywhere in between. Unfortunately all of the good people are getting screwed too. Barak Obama may as well be associated with the asteriord that killed the dinosaurs and nearly 70% of the living organisms on earth at the time when it impacted.
Replace earth in that arguement with the USA, and Barak Obama is the "ASTEROID OF DEATH!"
